Jungesblut consulting is a boutique practice founded in Düsseldorf in 2026. We work with companies across industries on three things: making their processes leaner, helping them adopt AI seriously, and turning their data into decisions. Engagements are short and delivery-oriented. Most produce something tangible in three to four weeks.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join as the first hire. This is a ground-floor role at a practice that is early in its trajectory. That is the point.
What you will do
You will lead client engagements end-to-end: scoping the problem, running the analysis, delivering the output, and managing the relationship. You will work directly with the decision-makers at the client. On some engagements you will work alongside the founder; on others you will run the work independently.
The three areas you will work across:
Process optimization. Mapping and redesigning operational workflows, identifying waste, simplifying before automating. Lean methodology applied to real business processes, not textbook exercises.
AI adoption. Helping clients move from “we should use AI” to “this is running in production.” Scoping pilots, selecting tools, managing implementation, measuring results.
Business intelligence. Building the reporting and dashboarding infrastructure that lets clients see what is actually happening in their business and act on it.
AI is a core part of how we work. You will use it as a tool throughout every engagement, and it is a large part of why a four-week engagement is realistic.
What we are looking for
You have 5+ years of experience in management consulting or a comparable analytical role. Ideally a mix of firm background and internal experience, so you know what rigorous consulting work looks like and what it looks like when it is buried inside an organization.
You can run a client engagement without hand-holding. You structure problems well, communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, and deliver work you can stand behind. You are honest when something is not right and do not need to be told what the next step is.
You are fluent in German and English. Most clients will be German-speaking; some work may be in English.
What this role offers

A practice you help shape. As the first senior hire, you will have real influence over how the firm works: which clients, which methods, which standards.
Compensation. Base salary at market rate for the role and experience level, plus performance upside tied to revenue as the practice grows. We will discuss specifics in the first conversation.
Location. Düsseldorf, hybrid. Client work may require travel within Germany.
